What Are Skills?

Skills are your character's progression system. The more you do something, the better you get at it! Level up by playing normally and unlock amazing rewards.

Why Skills Matter

  • Get rewarded for playing - Everything you do gives you XP
  • Unlock special abilities - Higher levels = cooler powers

How to Check Your Skills

Want to see how you're doing? Here are the commands you need to know.

Essential Commands

  • /skills — see all your skills and levels
  • /skilltop — see overall skill leaderboard
  • /skilltop [skill] — see leaderboard for specific skill

Pro Tips

  • Just play normally - you'll level up automatically!

What Skills Can You Level Up?

There are tons of skills to master! Here are the main categories and what you get for leveling them up.

⚔️ Combat Skills

Fight better, take less damage, deal more damage!

  • • Fighting - Sword Master (more damage), First Strike (bonus first hit), Bleed (damage over time)
  • • Archery - Bow Master (more damage), Retrieval (missed arrows return), Piercing (arrows pierce mobs)
  • • Defense - Shielding (less damage while sneaking), Mob Master (less mob damage), Immunity (chance to negate attacks)

⛏️ Gathering Skills

Get more resources, find rare items!

  • • Mining - Lucky Miner (extra drops), Pick Master (more damage), Stamina (toughness)
  • • Foraging - Lumberjack (extra drops), Axe Master (more damage), Valor (strength)
  • • Excavation - Bigger Scoop (extra drops), Spade Master (more damage), Metal Detector (rare loot)
  • • Fishing - Lucky Catch (extra drops), Treasure Hunter (rare loot), Grappler (hook speed), Epic Catch (epic loot)

How Do You Level Up?

It's simple - just play the game! Every action you take gives you experience points.

  • Mine ores → Mining skill goes up

⚡ Mana Abilities

Each skill has a special mana ability that costs mana to use!

  • Farming: Replenish - Replants crops automatically (duration increases with level)
  • Foraging: Treecapitator - Breaks entire trees instantly (duration increases with level)
  • Mining: Speed Mine - Gives Haste effect (duration increases with level)
  • Fishing: Sharp Hook - Deal damage to hooked entities when left clicking
  • Excavation: Terraform - Break connected blocks in a radius (duration increases with level)
  • Archery: Charged Shot - Arrows deal more damage based on bow pull
  • Defense: Absorption - Damage reduces mana instead of health (duration increases with level)
  • Fighting: Lightning Blade - Increases attack speed (duration increases with level)

🎯 Skill Progression

Each skill has 5 different abilities that unlock as you level up!

  • Abilities unlock every 5 levels starting from level 1
  • Each ability gets stronger as you level up
  • Mana abilities unlock at level 6
  • You also gain stat bonuses every level (Health, Strength, etc.)
  • Use /skills to see your abilities

📊 Stat Bonuses

Every skill level gives you permanent stat bonuses!

  • Farming: +0.4 Health every level, +1 Toughness every 2 levels
  • Mining: +1 Toughness every level, +1 Luck every 2 levels
  • Fishing: +1 Luck every level, +0.4 Health every 2 levels
  • Foraging: +1 Strength every level, +1 Toughness every 2 levels
  • Defense: +1 Toughness every level, +0.4 Health every 2 levels
  • Fighting: +1 Crit Damage every level, +1 Regeneration every 2 levels
  • And more! Each skill gives different stat bonuses
